(27/10/2010) Science Week Challenge!!

To celebrate science week challenge your students to win €150 worth of yteach reources in our science challenge. Students go to www.ylearn.ie and enter their school roll no. & name (e.g. 12345A John Murphy) in the name section and the access code related to the appropriate level:

Access Codes:

• "scienceweek1" = Primary 
  
• "scienceweek2" = Junior Cert
  
• "scienceweek3" = Leaving Cert

When students have finished the questions they must click "close assignment" and we at yTeach will receive the results. If a second attempt is made at the challenge, it is not necessary to repeat answers previously completed. Students should take note of where they finish, and continue from that point when they log in again. They will not see previously submitted answers but the results will have been submitted.
The only time limit is that the competition will close on Sunday 14th November at 9pm. 
In the case of a draw, time will be taken into account but the winner will not necessarily be the fastest to finish the challenge with the highest score. 
It is important that pupils watch animations as the expected time taken to complete all questions, will include this, in the event of a draw.

Hi Everyone.

Welcome back. We hope you are well rested and ready for action after the nice holiday.
We are currently working on putting the new project maths curriculum on YTeach.
While this is being developed some extra Strand 1 resources are available in the statistics and probability sections of the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert!!
