Offline player

For occasions when a live internet connection is not available in the classroom, yTeach.ie provides a free offline player. This enables you to download any purchased resources onto your computer. When you play the resources back in class, you will not require a live internet connection.

To download your chosen resources, open the resource's preview page. In the "Do you want to...?" box on the right of the screen, you will see a list of options. The final option is "Download the resource". On Playlist and Class Assignment editing pages, this option appears higher up the list.

Select the Download option, choose a name for your file, and save it to a convenient place on your computer.

Once saving has completed, find the .zip file on your computer and click on it with the right mouse button. Choose the "Extract all…" option and your files will be unpacked from the zip to a folder (follow the on-screen guide).

Within this new folder, you will see a file named "start". Double-click the file name, and your offline player will activate. You should now be able to see all your resources.

Depending on the security settings of your computer, you might be requested to click an option to play interactive content. This is a standard issue with computers.

Use the sample Off-line package below to test it on your computer.
